Foundation Tips and Tricks

Ohh we are gonna talk about foundation today... Not a very long post but a useful one. I use Makeup forever Mat Velvet #20. Works wonders. Some of you might not know this, If you use a makeup sponge you are getting good coverage (you think) But also wasting TONS of Foundation. If you use a Thick Brush you will get wayyy better coverage and get more use out of your product. When I used sponges I would use a Quarter size for my face, now I only use about a teardrop size. It's amazing.
Now im going to explain my all around "Foundation/concealer/undereye" face makeup. First I use my foundation I mentioned above all over my face. Then I go in with my Concealer that has treatment in it, touch up any nasty pimples or spots that need to be touched up. Then I take My 3 in 1 Concealer by essence and use the pink for Underneath my eye. I tend to get dark circles under there so it is very important to get something underthere to cover it up. Then I add a little Light pink blush and my face is done. Another time I will tell you about my eyes and some money saving tips on how to make your own makeup. ;)

Getting rid of those pesky pimples....

Hey Guys!
Madi here... Today I'm going to talk about Zit zapping, pore cleansing and all around pimple treatments... Sounds gross but lets face it. We all have pimples and we all want to get rid of them. We will start with our first subject.
Zit zapping: If you have a Target near you you can check out E.L.F "Zit zapper" and Concealer, Works great and getes rid of pimples overnight. Some of you might not have a target, or don't want to pay for expensive cleansers, You can go with this simple but very very affective way...If you take about 5 minutes reading the ingredients label of "zit zapper" or any other Cleanser you will find that Witch Hazel is the main ingredient in all of those products. Sounds like something that should STAY at the witch's house, Not be used on my face...BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. It Works the same as zip zapper/products like that. Plus, Here come's the good part.........It's at walmart...for only....1.77$! Can't beat that! If you compare it to Other makeup Zappers, you can plainly see that you are saving a fortune and getting the same product! Get yourself some cotton pads and apply to your face After a exfoliating face scrub, Which we will talk about next..
Pore Cleansing and Scrubs: Okay. So we all know that cleaning your pores are a pretty important thing to do for your face. I like to use Either Clean&Clear's Morning Burst scrub with Exfoliating beads or St. Ives Apricot scrub. It clears up my black heads pretty quickly. Now these products are generally 6-10$ for the normal size bottle's of them, And if your cheap like me I don't really want to spend 6-10$ on a product I have never used before, What if it dosen't work, or makes me break out? You'll never know unless you try. But lets try downsizing. Target or walmart will have Travel Sizes of each of those for only 0.99 cents and you can try them without paying that much for a big bottle at first. Here is my daily facial routine that maybe you can try or use as a base to costomize your own! When I get up I wash my face with Hot water and soap then leave my face wet. I either use the Apricot scrub or the Morning burst and I scrub that all over my face then rinse off, patt dry then Wet a cotton pad with Witch hazel and rub it all over my face. Works great and makes my skin feel very rejuvinated.
Pimple/Pore Treatments: These are for your huge breakout's or like once a week but not everyday. The first one I would reccomend is the Biore Pore Strips. They work great and our co-author hear abby actually is a biore beauty guru and has had great feedback to give about them. Next if you want to get a really good stuff you can go to sephora if you have one of online and find the concealer w/ treatment inside the concealer. The brand name escapes me right now but im sure I will remember it. Also you can use Dr. Brandt's Vaccum Pore Cleaner which is Very very affective. It works great. That Is pretty Much all you need to know about getting rid of all those pesky little buggers on your face. Hope this helps!

Homemade Cream Eyeshadows

okay so today Im making my own cream eyeshadows.
Need:
Vasaline or Mouisterizer
Loose or unused eyeshadow
Empty Eyeshadow containers
instructions:
First you need to crush up your eyeshadow into a bowl (if it's not loose eyeshadows) and make sure there is no lumps in your eyeshadow. Add a little vasaline or moisturizer whichever you wanna use until you get a slight creamy Eyeshadow. Put it in your empty eyeshadow container and let sit for atleast an hour. Then it's ready for use! It makes a great primer. I kinda use it as a tinted eye primer to match whatever Color im wearing that day. I will make a video another day and post it so you can get the Idea of how it looks.
