Choosing your Brands wisely...

Hello all you makeup Junkies out there! Today we are going to talk about Choosing your Brands wisely. Hence, The title. Now, If you come up to any random Makeup user and ask, "Covergirl or Mica Cosmetics?" They are gonna say, "Huh? Who is Mica Cosmetics?". About 99.9% of you reading this Don't know about Mica Cosmetics! There is also SOOO Many others I can go on with. Mica cosmetics and many others are Small cosmetics companies. Wouldnt you rather give your money to a small business who needs it, or a Multi-Million dollar company who is just gonna kick around that $30 you just spent on there products like a ball. The answer is pretty obvious to me, Small business' allow you to try new products, but also your helping out that business when you buy from them. Now, I know it is alot easier to take a 15-30 minute trip down to your nearest drug store and pick up the stuff you need, instead of waiting a week for it to come in the mail, But that's not the point. If you REALLY need those items, Lets say for instance, Your going to a dance party that your friend is throwing, oops. Your out of Mascara, You can't go without it! You obviously can't buy it offline, so then and ONLY then would you have to give your money to the bigger companies. Which brings us to our next topic, STOCK UP! In cases like those, you could have saved yourself some money and gas if you have it already stocked up! When your favorite product goes on sale, or even you have a good coupon on it, You buy as much as you can, so that you wont need more, and by the time you need more, That sale or an even better one will come along again! You can also stock up on things online if you happen to have a coupon code, or a gift certificate! I am not saying that everyone should buy from small business', and im not saying that Big compaines are bag and we should boycott them, I am just saying try a small business first, then if you go through the list of small cosmetics companies, and you don't find something that catches your eye, then move on to the store. You can also order things like Avon, Mary kay, Mark., Scentsy, Party Lite, etc. From the Independant consultant themselves instead of going through the big guys. Even the people who re-sell the big companies products are good because, Like I said before, you are giving your money to someone who could use it more thena big company. Maybelline Products I've tried recently..

I am a member of BzzAgent.com and I got to try out Maybelline Lots of lashes Mascara, and Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm! Here is my review and why you should try them! So, I got the Mascara and the lip balm, And first I thought, Im not gonnna try the lip balm, Im not a Lip Balm Person, I will just try the Mascara. So, I wasen't home when My BzzKit arrived, So my mom called me and said it was here, and that she snitched one of the Mascara's. I thought, Well that was quick! Now I can write up a Bzz report on it! Got home, Tried the mascara, (and can I just say, That mascara applicator was AH-Mazing! I loved it!) Loved it, Will deffinetly buy it again once I run out. So, I gave a lip balm to my sister, she tried it, said it was good, Like the flavour and would buy it again if she had a coupon.I said, Can I try a bit of it? Tried it, and thought it was too oily. But then again, My lips werent cracked or anything. About 3 days later, had chapped lips. I asked my sister again, Can I try some? And she replied "Get your own! " LOL! So, Sadly, I had to open up a new one from my stash, Peppermint I do believe it was. Put some on my lips, and man! Did that help! Plus, The favor was fanominal! So, I wrote in a BzzReport for my mom on the Mascara, She LOVED IT! Wrote in a BzzReport on Me, and My sister on the Mascara and lip balm, And I saved the rest for Gifts! So, I highly recommend you go to the store and try out these products because you never know until you try!
